No new festivas. They did have a 96 Aspire with a REALLY NICE rear beam. A 92 323 w/ complete engine VAF etc. etc. 94,ooo miles

I went to get some parts for my truck but didn't find anything. Checked out some Rio seats, looked for an EGT dizzy, Found a B6D for head and oil pan but decided I didn't want to get that greasy in the cold. I'm a wuss I guess.

Walked out with only a front license plate bracket and some pedal covers for the truck. Had fun though.

I am going to pull the lock rods next time I'm at my favorite Festiva in the bush. I need to do an experiment in reversing the placement of the power lock actuator rods. I need some crisp locking and unlocking without interference. The good news is that all the rods will be shortened.
I will also pull a wiper transmission, just in case someone else has a failure.

Believe it or not, the only parts that were missing on the Festiva were the waterneck and the radio.

I also found a straight .090" six terminal connector in the rear hatch of an Aspire at Airport Auto Wreckers in Niagara Falls, NY. This will allow me to isolate the cruise control power wire with a single .250" terminal.

I found one on the Capri in my garage. Not quite as beefy but it does work. It came off the door handle.
