Is the mazda 323i the same as a mazda 323 gt. I mean the engine, tranny, etc/..... minus the turbo. i found a lost titled 323 for for free and it runs, the lady cant find the title so it might be a problem to get rid of, but if the motors are the same I could use it as parts for the turbo charged b6t I got. if not I will say forget about it.

I don't think the 323 ever got a non-turbo version of the B6T. I think it's going to either be a 16v or 8v sohc.OX SMASH!! -
its called a 323i thats what it says on the hatch. it doesnt have a turbo, just curious if the motors are the same, but its possible it is sohc rather than the dohc. The year is 1987 I believe, it was manufactured in late 1986 so I am pretty sure this makes it a 1987. it is fuel injected not carbed, if they even made a carbed version. looks in decent shape, interior is clean too but i just want the motor, tranny, etc...Had two 93 Gl's Sold one siezed one and parted out threw these forums.
