89 FESTY QUESTION

So from what I've read so far the 89 auto car is the least desirable.
So of course my best bodied car is an 89 A.T. Question is should i just get it running and drive it or is there any swaps that arent a pan in the butt?
I have festy and aspire drivetrains so i have options. Thanks guys.
