steering universal joints

hi guys

My steering universal joint has a lot of play in it
It is the one inside the car.

Where do you get a new one?

They are held on with pinch bolts. Make sure they are tight.

If eurotiva cant find his...I have two. They look identical except one has 7 x 12 stamped on it and it has a circlip in the top where the steering shaft attaches. The other has 1 Y 18 stamped on it and does not have the circlip. I know the 7 x 12 one came from an 88. I think the other "1 Y 18" came from a 90.

Don't see why you couldn't use your old pinch bolt. eurotiva was first to jump on this.

binkoba is pretty new (or doesn't post much), I'll give him a couple of days to respond before I let someone else have it.
