so i recently got another festy for a daily driver for my wife, and after adding it to my insurance i was told my premiums would go down 9 dollars a month. keep in mind i did not change any coverage or deductibles on any of my other cars or trucks, all i did was change my wifes primary driver from our 05 yukon to her 90 festy, and as a result, even with the added car it still went down.... gotta love these little cars

No I already had the multi car discount. Ins agent said because the wife isn't driving the more expensive Yukon daily it lower there risk therefore lowering premiums. Hmmm idk but I was pleased to add a fourth car and have my premium go down 9 dollars whatever the reason

It's less expensive because a Festiva tends to bounce off expensive-to-repair things -- like old ladies in crosswalks -- rather than the Yukon, which flattens whatever it hits.88L black, dailydriver
88LX silver a/c, dailydriver
4 88/89 disassembled
91L green
91GL aqua pwrsteer
92GL red a/c reardmg
3 93L blue, 2 dailydriver, 1 frontdmg

^Yep. I added my Escort back and replaced one Festy with it till I get Blue back on the road. Insurance went up even though the Escort has more safety features and is in general more safe than the Festivas in a crash. With liability they aren't worried about what's going to happen to you. It's about what kind of damage you can do with whatever you're in it seems.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
