People always think of stuff like this but no one has actually tried it yet

I'm one of those people actually, but since I already have a project car, I don't want another one so I most likely won't do the swap even though I've looked into it a little bit

The escort ZX2 has a G series in it so match it with the Capri axle set and drop it in, might need to knotch the frame if the engine measures longer then a BP, make mounts, wire it up and fire it up

Although the BP is just as good and much easier to install lol

    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

A guy on youtube claimed that it was done and driving years ago. Never saw proof.

That's the thing though, anyone can claim anything on the Internet without proof... So no proof means BS to me

Oh man. this would be amazing. I wonder how well it'd fit in a Capri engine bay

I told him how common the BP was. I pushed him. He still said it was an actual Ztech. I still didn't believe it.

Try it out buddy, the Zetec trans has a 26 spline diff but you might need to make a mounting plate for the int shaft

He's someone who I could see actually trying a Zetec swap

My only worry with that engine would be the length of it and how much modifications to the frame would be needed if any... I'm sure it can be done though

im curious why would you want the ztec motor? is it just to be different or are there reasons why its better than the BP?
I know its a piece of crap but im still faster...and its 100% legal!!!!!
