has anyone bolted an automatic tranny to a b6t?

just wondering if its crossed anyones mind. im not doing the swap to race people, im doing it to get up to freeway speed faster. and in theory it would be kinda cool except for the lost gas mileage.

Shadetree i think did it, but the stock auto trans wont hold that power very long IMO, it just wasnt desgined for 2-3 times the power

It'll hold. IIRC the auto is about as tough as a g series.
