That rear wheel looks like an Escort 14" 7 spoke alloy.

It looks like a Festiva front strut mount behind the carb from the view shown.

Doesn't look very comfortable to ride. Plus the fact it still looks like it has the Festiva tranny, so you have to shift it like a car with your left hand.
Does look kinda nice, besides the fake alloy hubcaps on the front.

In the words of Top Gear, Ambitious but rubbish.

I'd call it a good effort and applaud him for doing it. Think what kind of gas mileage it would get at say 800-900 lbs, and you could put any size tire on it you wanted. So a really tall tire like the old VW 165/80x15 would really slow down the revs and let you use an auto tranny, with much better gas mileage. And it would still have great acceleration because it's so light. Not to mention motor swaps! :-)
90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods
09 Kia Rondo--a Festy on steroids!

I'm guessing 120+ mpg would be possible with the right driver on the right roads. Highway efficiency would actually be similar to a Festiva, since the CD on it will be around 30% higher than a stock Festiva.

With a stock Festy EFI motor and 5-speed, at 60 MPH, my best was ~52. Taller gearing and much lighter weight would help a lot, but I doubt 120 MPG would be attained. Possibly with a strong tailwind to negate wind resistance, but that's not real-world. I had briefly considered turning Matthew into a trike, but I like him too much for that. He's a lot of fun as-is.
