Ran out of gas while going down a very slight incline and coasted 1/4 mile into a gas station and right up to a pump. "Deadstick", baby! :thumbright:

Then again there was the time I ran out with a friend and we had to push it a half mile to the friggin' gas station....

I had one receipt on my valet for forever,, but I kept forgetting to post it. 10.1 gallons. Always happens on delivery, but since I only do that ten hours a week now, well, not so much. Ran out of gas more times than I can count though. Used to always carry a gallon of gas for that.

Ran an aspire out of gas once around 1 am, about 10 miles from a gas station. Got lucky a friend of mine accidentally butt dialed me right when the car quit and they brought some gas. When I filled it up including the 2 gallons he brought it was only 9 gallons. Aspire tanks never held the full 10 gallons, at least not the ones I owned.

Yeah, before I changed out the leaky tank, pickup sock, and fuel filter, It would bunny hop on acceleration at 9.5, but now I can do around 9.8 without bunny hops, hell the time I put over 10 gallons in it still didn't bunny hop.

I wonder how much gas a Festiva tank "really" holds.

Yeah, I know they say 10 gallons but I've put more than 10 gallons in dozens and dozens of times, and that's without having run out of gas. I remember one time on the way to a friend's wedding I drove 115 miles before the needle dropped below the "F".

I bet a quart or more can fit in the fill tube.
