Anything is worth what you are willing to pay. No more. No less. Similar concept with pro sports players. Everyone always says they are not worth that amount of money. Maybe not to you, but to the owner of the team that stands to make much more off of them, it is a great deal. It all depends on what your ultimate goal for the car actually is. ONLY you can answer that. Are you going to resell it? Then probable not a good deal. 64,000 miles doesn't mean anything if the po beat the crap out of the car, or it came from the rust belt, or if it had previous accidents, etc. but maybe an old lady had it and was religious about any/or all maintenance. It's all up to you and everyone else's opinions really should be considered if you are on the fence about it. Just think about it though before diving in.
If it was super extra minty clean inside and out, I would go for it. Nowadays it is getting harder to find a good reliable, comfortable, fun car for under $3000. Realise that at 64,000 miles it will be needing a few things replaced that are probably still oem or needing replaced again. Shocks and tires come to mind. Then a good tune up like plugs, wires, filter, etc. Factor that in too.-Bryant

Personally if I was looking for a stock festiva, mileage, options, drivetrain etc would not matter because it wouldn't stay stock for long :lol:

One question. Would you feel taken if you pay that for it? Either yes or no. Just make sure you can sleep at nigh over it. I paid more than double that for my project and I am sleeping well even with all of the extras I am dumping into it. I know what I will have when I am done. Worth it to me. What is your goal?

If you have to ask...too much. But I would have done it. Paid 1800 for my 1990. No regrets.

yeah it depends on what you want. locknload has a bp swapped festiva for 2500.00 & i would pick that over a stock festiva, but thats just me. i sold my 88lx with over 430k on it for around 2k. i sold my 92 gl auto for 2300. isold my sohc rear turbo car for 2900.00 and i just purchased a 91 lx protege off of ebay for 1225.00 one owner g series with 90k miles on it. if i want something & its the right car i just buy it.Never Hire a Boy to do a Man's Job!!
