  • Festiva Drawings/Dimensions

Is there anywhere you can get full blown festiva dimensions or engineering drawings, including the frame? In the Festiva workshop manual it has some dimensions, but not enough to actually model it. I found a dxf file of a festiva online, but I'm not sure its accurate and its only the exterior. I also found a solid works model of a Festiva shell, but again its only the exterior.

i bet you a good body shop would have access to those kinds of printouts.
since they use them to restore vehicles back to stock after accidents.

I don't actually have that dxf. It's $27 for an 88 Mazda 121, which is most likely user submitted. I have a feeling half of the dimensions are rounded

these first 7 scans are from a Mazda factory body shop manual. be aware that some holes may not be present in Korean (festiva) body shells as some panel stampings have slight variations from Mazdas Japanese panels. overall lengths are shorter due to non-US type bumpers.

here is a dimensioned drawing from a german "typenschein"

here are 3 pages from in french from a body equipment maker

How do I save that into a freestanding (BMP, JPG, PDF, whatever) file on my machine for future reference?

Is the Festiva the same as a 121?

How about illustrated parts breakdowns with part numbers?

right click the images and click 'save image as'. Then save it on your computer

Yes a Festiva is a 121 with some minor differences; tail lights and probably some other things.

here's a few more from the body manual i forgot to scan. probably the biggest panel difference between the 121 and festiva would be the radiator support since the 121 has different headlamps. also the euro 121 mostly had a 2 piece bumper attached mainly with 2 U-shape brackets. also the rear bumper cover was attached directly to the rear panel, not to a full width crash beam like US festivas.
