P1010002.jpgP1010001.jpgNew Struts are in and the springs were cut. Looks like I need to cut a half coil more in the front. The "New B6" goes in Monday with the header. I picked up two sets of mags, just have to decide which ones I like best.

If those are stock wheels, I would wait until you have mags and wheels on, plus the weight of the swap on, before I cut any more spring. Just my two cents...Other than that, looking good!

Worked on Tweety a little today. Trying to feed the wiring for the clock under the dash!! What a PITA. Two hours and still can't get the wire to feed down to the radio opening. So, I just put the radio connectors back on the original harness and left the hook ups for the clock undone until I can feed that under the dash.

Up at 5am this morning. Weather was cool, so I decided to try the wiring again. BINGO, wiring is in. clock works and the radio plays nicely. Tomorrow we pull the B3 out and put the new B6 in!!

hotford, it's a lot easier to wire a dash clock with the dash out. It is also a great excuse to replace the seals on the blower, remove and clean the heater core fins, then install a cabin air filter.

+1 on the cabin air filter. I live in the desert and before installing this is get blasted in the face with sand every time I turned the air on.

hotford, if you want heat in the winter and don't have an A/C evaporator to block debris, I would check to make sure those fins are clear on your heater core while the hoses are off.

When finished Tweety will only be driven in the summer months. I have three other Festivas (just picked another red 93 this week end) and a Pathfinder for winter driving.
