  • Poor Festy!!!

Poor Festy ....and poor truck!! Aghhh!!

This is a guy I work with, (Mike) friend's, son! Said he had a bad tranny, I offered to sell my 4 spd to him for cheap. Couple days went by, I asked, "Does he want to buy the tranny?"

The guy I work with, Mike, said his friend's son wasn't to bright about cars, but he texts him and asks. A few hours later, Mike gets this pic:

We both about gagged, and shook our heads .... WTH!

The kid said that was the only way to get it to a shop. I had told Mike to tell the kid to join the forum here, and we would find someone to help. (Indiana)

    I guess he didn't listen.

(Notice the front loader! Did he use that to load it!?)

^Back it up to a lift and use 2 engine cranes for the other end?

            That is nuts.

Good Man, Charlie! I doubt he will listen, he is not to bright when it comes to cars. I will give another shout out to Mike and see if we can turn it around, but I fear it is too late!
Did you notice the rear bumper? It wasn't bent up like that in the 1st pic I saw of it a week ago!

I had the same thought, about how are they going to get it out! The shop prolly wont do it!

I had a vision of a Festy falling off the back of a pickup while in transport

Probably went to the crusher , I think if anyone cared enough about a car to take it to a shop they would find a better way to get it there .

Charlie, he is in Patoka ...we are working on finding it's status right now. Looks to be 138 miles from you

BTW, I just got an Ibanez JS 100, used for $338 delivered ...looks brand new! Turning it into a JS1000 wanna be, I have the same Dimarzio P/U's that are in the JS 1000 to replace the Ibanez P/U's that are in it now

...if it has a bad trans, why didn't he just flat-tow it? hmmmmmm Unless the shop was 50 miles away, a rope would've been 10000 times easier than that.

I'd meet you down there, Charlie.
