Picked this one up from Bakersfield,CA for only $130!!! Does have back fees though... Never worked on carb cars so this should be an interesting learning experience. Doesn't start, but hopefully I can get it up and going, I have most of efi parts left over from my swap might covert it. Will I get better gas mileage efi?any benefits to keeping it carb?

EFI needs an electric fuel pump. I recommend a Rocketman adapter + Escort carb, then discard the ECU.

An LX for $130. Good call, sir. I love that charcoal grey/tan interior combo.

I'm possibly going the other way- EFI to carb- but still confused about the manifold for the carb and the EFI rail-

        are they the same?

anyway- if you want to sell the carb or manifold at some future point- I might be interested-

I just found the mechanical fuel pump I'd replaced on the old '88 a half dozen years ago- wen the ptoblem simply turned out to be bad plug wires.
