  • I joined the darkside..Miata

I'm sorry to have failed you all. Despite knowing that the Festiva is superior, I went ahead and purchased a Miata. It's a really fun car and modifying it doesn't take 10 hours of research and custom fabrication.

I really just needed something that was easy and less of a money pit with school and what not.

Best part is that it supercharged. 6psi FTW. Just kidding, it's still slow.

Niiice. I can't imagine a miata being slow. Mine wasn't in good shape and it was a beast. And they just stick to the road, great for curvey roads. Have fun but be safe. More pics? I sold my first festiva ended up with a 96 miata, sold it so I could buy my current festiva. I see it's a first gen, I have a tan boot cover on the 'bay for real cheap if you're interested.

Well I guess 6psi would be a little bit slow compared to the 16 or so you were running before!

if i was going to abandon the good ship Festiva i'd probly jump into a 1.8 Miata. then i could go broke sending thousands to Flyin Miata

I don't fit either... but it's because of my 6'11" frame.

I would kill to have a miata that clean with a 250 or so HP BP turbo.

Indeed. Hopefully this eventually gets the turbo treatment!
