Does anyone know How

Ok just a question, but does any one know how fast a stock B3 Festiva w/auto would run out at.

The question is being ask, because I received a ticket on the way home this morning and the officer said I was doing 93 in a 70mph
but wrote the ticket for 88 in a 70mph, which I do not believe is possible.

This car is stock orig. except for the 13's on it nothing else has been changed or done to make it go that fast.
But did have a good laugh after he left and was reading the ticket to my wife, she had the best comment on it "NO Way in hell that little
car was doing 93 or 88mph" LOL.

So just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this. Thanks Laughing all the way to court LOLrasm

Top speed is 85 just look in the dash lol

I've probly done close to a hundred on my 5 speed but the speedo only goes up to 85

Had my auto b3 at 92+ on a slight uphill following another car.

Never topped out the wife's auto with 13's but it will do 80 real easy. You should go get a 1/4 mile slip to go with it ...framed of course !

dad had his old 5 speed festiva maxed out at 115 miles per hour so I guess all the Festivas are maxed out at at that speed.... I don't know I never maxed out my Auto but I have done 80 mph just to pass.....

Thanks all for the info. according to the local Ford dealers in the area and there are two that I spoke with, a 63hp. car should only be able to do what the tach.
states on it and no more. Yea Right.

Got my 5 speed up to 110 on 12s. My wife was not happy.
