Car lot is selling a 94 aspire 5 door for $4000 is that too much? Has almost 12,000 miles.... with my luck the 5 speed will go out at 15,000 miles.... good deal?

Soooo...it was driven 600 miles a year? Grandpa's car? Even so, $4K seems a little steep. But hey, how much would a newer car with 12K on it cost? Absolutely a good deal, but be prepared because it is a 20 year old car, or close enough. The rubber stuff like the stem seals and injector o rings and suspension bushings are old. They might look good but they're old. Sooner or later it will need refreshed. With the aspire and festivas reputation where are you going to find another easy to work on reliable vehicle in like new condition for that kind of price? And the 40+mpg!2008 Kia Rio- new beater
