Festiva/Aspire Factory Audio options

anybody have photos of all the Audio options for the Festiva/Aspire? just wanna know what they look like if I ever come across them

The OEM radios/cassette decks that came with the 4 EFI Festys I owned over the years all ceased to function in around year 10. Lusting over any of this old planned obsolescence junk is a waste of time unless appearance is solely what you're after. What spooks me about solid state electronics in this regard is what are electronically-governed cars going to be like reliability-wise a few years down the road. If car makers want to field-test things for the long haul they really have to spend a bit more time making things suitable for northern climates.

I don't know if the aspire ever came with a cassette player but the Aspire my grandma bought brand new in 1995 was given to my dad with 50,000 miles when she moved to Arizona.... it had an aftermarket cassette player in it..... all the other aspire's we had came with an aftermarket cd player or nothing at all... as for the 3 festiva's we have or currently own, only one of them had the original radio... and it worked, well the radio part worked, not the cassette player.... I still have the original radio for dad's current Festiva replaced by the PO

for the festiva you have 4 possibles if you consider NO audio an option. radio delete insert. AM only. AM/FM. AM/FM w cassette.

my dad's old red Festiva had the most expensive Audio option for 1991 the am/fm with cassette he paid under 6500 for the car since it was considered a used car with almost 200 miles

his current car came with an am/fm or am/fm with cassette changed out by the PO

my car came with some aftermarket am radio with cassette and no fm.... it did not work.....
