  • probay a stupid question.

How do you move your festiva with the engine out and the axels hanging?
Do you just put your suspension back together and dolly it or what?

    I hope this makes sense.

I gotta get the festiva in the garage for the winter

You want your axles in and your sway bar all connected since That's what "pushes" the car.

I had to do that before I could push one of mine on a trailer. Otherwise the tires will want to hit the back of the fender well.

Are the axles 'hanging' from the trans or the knuckles?

The knuckles will come apart without axles through them. If you have an old set of axles, pull the outer CV hubs off and install them in the knuckles

Put axles in, put axle nut and spacer on, make sure the sway bar is connected at everypoint, and make sure the lca pinch bolt ball joint is in too.

Leave the axles in the knuckles and hang them in a sling of coat hangers so they can spin in the engine compartment.
