21st century VW pickup truck

I was watching the latest MCM video and noticed a VW pickup truck, or ute as they're called down under. I hadn't heard of never mind seen one before. Did a quick search and came up with this. I wonder what the chances of that being sold in North America?

Ziltch. Although Honda has a very similar vehicle...identical even.

Too bad it looks nothing like a Rabbit pickup. Looks identical to pretty much any Japanese truck on the road.
