Ive been throwing around ideas on the Festiva and began wondering just how light this car could be made. Anyone ever gutted one and weigh it? Is it possible to get it to 1500lbs and still resemble a car?

I'm up too 1850lbs now with the bp+t

If ever you remove the hatch and all the side glass you'll notice the weight of a Festy drops significantly (couple of hundred pounds at least). But; can you do without all this stuff?Comment

If I recall my "race weight" with me and gas was around 2100. I think I had the passenger and back seat out. Otherwise everything else was there.91GL BP/F3A with boost
