  • something nice to replace the fest...

I learnt to drive barefoot at sixteen, in one of these...[http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/...0/1650584.html

Probably tough convincing Social Security, the depreciation would make worth $4500 or less; as soon as I signed for a loan. Could afford the $110/month; at least until I flunk the HUD inspection for continuing section 8. I wonder how much the total would be paying the thing off at that rate, however?

Keeping the car in 11" tires was tough,* since boat trailer rubber was the only thing sold which fit. One of the best handling cars ever made, with an unique suspension medium combining water & alcohol; of which three million got sold in the UK, all total of the various versions using the same mechanical basics.

Sure looks pretty in the Hemmings ad; except if that's British Racing Green, they need far less shade-seems.

*11" sure seems extreme; though I'm pretty sure that's what came on the car.

I seriously doubt it had 11" tires, since I never heard of them. Minis came with 10", which was pretty unique, and Midgets/Sprites came with 13", which is more likely what the 1100 came with.
