  • Bp intake gasket

Could someone summon me a machine shop useable file of the gasket or flange of the mating surface between the upper and lower bp intake manifolds. Maybe someone has access to one

The gasket on the left is to the 2004/2005 MazdaSpeed Miata, the one on the right is to the 1999/2000 Miata.
bhearts, if you need me to send you one or the other (or both) let me know.

So I'm set on getting to work on building upper intake manifolds this thanksgiving weekend. I have two in mind so far, b3 manifolds and bp manifolds. My big question for everyone, which bp is everyone running? Escort protege bp engines should all have the same intake porting and bolt spacing, right? Does anyone think adding in iac porting in the plenum is a must. How about egr? Egr should be easy but I'm not familiar with iac solenoid. My manifolds should be easily customizable by me for passenger side or drive side throttle body, although a valve cover entrance throttle could be had on a b3 manifold. I'd like to make my bp manifold clearancing free on the fire wall mod. Ive never seen a bp festiva in person so could someone and me a side shot or two of your manifold clearance with your firewall.

Don't think any of the BPs we run have egr.
