Front Wheel Bearing Preload

Hello everyone, This is my first posting but I have been on the forum for a little while now. I apologize if this is covered in another thread but I could not find what I was looking for. I just replaced the drivers side front wheel bearings and seals. I reused the factory shim and when done I had a rotational force of 5 inch pounds. I just bought this car and do not have a book yet, but I plan on getting one soon but I would like to drive the car right away. Is this rotational force within factory spec? What should factory spec be? Thanks. Mike

Front is 2.2-10.4 lb-in including seal drag. Rear is 1.3-4.3 lb-in. I believe this should be in the repair section.

Great, thanks for posting. Looks like I should be just fine at 5 inch pounds.
