Welcome to the forum and the world of Festivas. There's plenty of upgrades that can be done to a Festiva. Some folks swap in suspension and braking parts from Ford Aspires for better braking and handling. If it's straight line speed you're after, there's plenty of different Mazda engines you can swap in with varying degrees of difficulty. If you're after comfort, you can do seat swaps from quite a few Ford and Mazda vehicles from the 90s. A stock Festiva can be a blank canvas for a lot of guys, but for others, it represents the ultimate economy car perfect as it is. It's all about what you want to do with it. There's plenty of old threads and articles floating around with details on the various common upgrades.

Also, Festivas are addictive. You can't own just one. Many of the regular posters here have had more than one and a select few have had ten or more.
