  • Wrecked the wifes LX last night

We're both OK but a little sore. T-boned a SUV at an angled intersection going about 40-45 MPH. 4 young ladies in the SUV were ok. Their car spun around 180. Ours just pretty much stopped where we hit. Someone pointed out that a piece of our car was in traffic going around. It was the grille. Pretty much intact, it kept going straight ahead another 30 feet. Had a huge nostril burning soup of antifreeze, trans oil, wiper fluid and battery acid under the car. My wife says it she thinks it protected us pretty well. I have to agree considering I'm 6'7" tall and was driving

      That will buff right out
Another glad everyone was OK. Cars from mid-80s forward are much better taking hits although they sustain more damage. Better the car than the person!!

        Glad everyone involved is OK.

Trans oil? What happened there? Too bad the other corner wasn't hit instead--no fluids involved.

My guess would be pulled the axle out.

That was a hard hit! You guys are lucky. You should go hot tubbing or something. Loosen up muscles that may still be in shock. Car looks so nice outside of the crash.

I still have that front bumper cover. Also have a left fender.
Too bad you are so far away. You could have them for free.
Looks like you will also need:
                        Hood
                        Left Shroud Panel
                        Shroud Upper Plate
Left Wheel Apron Panel and maybe a Front Side Panel and Front Lower Frame
                        Left Mud Guard
                        Radiator
                        Left Strut
                        Battery Carrier
                        Left Head Light
                        Left Marker Light
                        Left Signal Light.
                        Windshield washer assembly.
And last but not least a good friend who has a body shop.

Glad to hear everyone was ok.

Hopefully the chassis isn't tweaked, a hard impact on one side of the front could have thrown something askew.

Thanks everyone. Its not worth it to me to try to fix. We had the split rear seat back folded down to haul a new dog crate. When I got everything out and tried to put the seat up it wouldn't latch. The whole shell is tweaked.
