  • Having a car Shipped

I'm just getting my feet wet again and my appetite to find the perfect festiva again is growing. I have come accross several that I really liked and wanted to make an offer on, But I've come across a delima. Any car that I find that will require me to go pick it up, None of my friends drive a stick shift or can't go. I was wondering if anyone has paid to have a car shipped to them?

Yes, several times. Lots of bad stories too. Hope your experience is better. You may be better off finding members to drive your car to you, like a relay race. lol.
Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

        Where are you located?

Shipping has not been a bad experience for me. Mark also used the guy that I suggested and all went well.

I live in the Southwest Va/Northeast TN area. Actually not far from Bristol Motor Speedway. The car is in PA. I myself would drive up and back no problem. Dragging others along for what I consider is a super exciting trip is another lol

A few months ago I had a car shipped. Since it was older and with no engine, the guy who picked up the car just put "old car" on the inspection form and my buddy on the other end signed it. When the car arrived it had two big dents and a broken tail light that it didn't have before. The foreign driver just said "Hey it's an old car, who cares."

Alright I'll use this thread I already started. My GL sport is in Orange City Florida. The shipping quote from the dealership was alittle to expensive for what I have paid in the past 585 to be exact. Any ideas? You guys are the smartest car guys and gals around. And coming here each day to read something new is something I look forward to! Thanks for the help!

WolfePack Transport just sent me an email quoting me a transport of 285 dollars. That may very well be the cheapest I will hear from!
