    hi everyone,just recently bought kia pride sx 2000,58000 miles,silver,for £150,rear brakes no good,still drove home,have fitted new shoes,but had to grind some of the metal,as the drums would not go back on,fully slackened off h/cable,still did not go on,till i grinded of some,mtal, on shoes..new air filter,as it was empty,pictures soon.

      that's like a bit over $200? used prides seem to be dirt cheap over there. not too many engine swaps. SX is 4 door hatch? 13" wheels? you mean there was NO air filter in it? howz come you said brakes instead of binders?

        You should not be grinding on any of the brake parts, it sounds like you didnt reset the adjusters!

          taken of the adjusters fully,also at handbrake,still the drums would not go back on,needs must grind a bit of shoes,footpedal is fine,will soon bed in,based in uk,most of these have rotted away over here,the is about 300 left of this model,its standard sx model,front leccy windows,no airbag,radio/cass,mileage 58000,bit of rust front wing,has had bit welding on rear sills,took to garage,had it undersealed,for £20,has a great heater,bought cambelt for £5.80,will fit soon,spark plugs cheap,at £1.00 each,bosch,front drivers side indicator from a different make of car,...will put pictures soon
