Has anybody tried to chrome plate a festiva grill like they do on current generation Ford vehicles? I would love to do that to my Festiva

You can get chrome spray paint. It works really well. I was surprised. Not sure how well it would hold up.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

You can plate Plastic. (in a sense) What they do is they "paint" the plastic part to be plated with a coating that has a very high concentration of Copper particles. Then, the Copper allows the piece to be plated in Nickel, then they plate that in Chrome. It can be done and is done quite regularly. I don't know how much it would cost though. I think it would be more costly than just plating a similarly sized piece of metal due to the extra steps and materials needed.
