  • Techno suffers heart attack!!

Well, it finally happened.. the B6 spun a bearing this morning.. damn near made it home from 50 miles away.. luckily I just sold the Festiva that I got from Tim and Techno knew just where to die.... right at his shop. He was supposed to pick it up yesterday with his trailer, but didn't because of the weather... so we got his trailer and hauled Techno home.. he picked up the red one and here I sit.. no legal running Festivas.. WTF?!?! I need a new dd asap.. If I can get some cheap transportation (by this afternoon/tomorrow) The B6t will be going in and will have to up and running in a week or 2.

Glad to hear. Id say just switch the tags but the cops would probably notice that Zippy doesn't have XP inside.

ok Zippy is up and running.. took off the fms springs and went back stock since the crossmember is so low and I have to pick my mom, sister and brother in law from the airport on the 24th all 3 are pretty hefty so I didn't want to bottom the poor car out.. man after being in lowered Festivas for the better part of 3 years it's weird to drive one at stock height..

Try going from one that corners on rails and feels like its riding on bricks to one that rides on marshmellows and feels like its rolling over the tires in hard turns!

When I had both my green ones, one stock and one modified. I would only drive the stock one in the winter, the first couple times I would corner it it would feel like it was going to roll over! The cars were twins almost so even though they looked the same, they sure didn't drive the same!

I do it most everyday. Drive the stock one to work then play with the lowered one in the evening.

Sucks about techno but at least youv'e got another nice one to get you thru this rough time.
