  • windshield squirters?

My 88 Festy has single squirters, one squirter for drivers and one squirter for pass side.

When I got my 92 GL Sport, I noticed it has dual squirters! 2 for drivers side, and 2 for pass side. I didn't know Festy's had dual squirters. Is this a GL Sport thing, or is this common for 90-93 Festys?

My 93 L has duals so they must be common for 90-93. It surprised me the first time I used them too, pretty cool.

huh, I honestly didn't think Festys had anything other than the single one in the middle.

i'm thinking he means 4 squirt balls in a single center head. 2 aimed at each side. all i've driven are 90+ festivas and they all just had 2 squirt balls total. maybe its a head from another car.

Yes it is a center head w/ 4 jets. I'm pretty sure mine is a factory setup.

Two squirting balls, as you call them, each with two jets. Both our Festivas have them but I have seen the ones with a single jet in each ball.

              Alright, Thanks for the replies!

I will now be on the search for the dual squirt heads to put on the 88!

maybe i'm just not seeing double. there are 2 different part#s for the washer jet though. one for 88/89 and one for 90+

this bugged me because i kept thinking jets is balls and there's no way they fit 4 balls in a single head but now i understand.

It's the squirter plenum that determines how much juice goes on the glass. The bigger, the better in my opinion.

ya its hard to tell but the early 2 baller looks like it has larger orifices and the spray direction is adjustable with a sewing needle. not sure if the later one is adjustable. i didn't want to try it in case the jet insert is plastic instead of stainless like the early one.
