that an Aspire down pipe is shorter than a Festiva?
My parts car Aspire has (well had) a fairly newer nice exhaust with a brand new muffler.
My festy's PO that it was a good idea to straight pipe it....... damn kids!!!! lol
So we thought it would be smart of us to put the good exhaust on the festy.
That's when we learned about the down pipe.
Then when we swapped out the down pipe, we did not notice the doughnut between the down pipe and cat fell out.
We'll fix that tomorrow.
But at least we car actually hear each other talk now.
Either it was a fun night of learning for the sons and myself.

Makes sense- the front end is skinnier and more aerodynamic. I knew there are differences, just not the specifics as to what.

A catalytic converter is a worthless screen door device designed to make your car fail faster and cause you repair expense. Nothing more. Put your car tail pipe up against the screen door and see if there's any less exhaust, in your house, if you don't believe that.....
