I've read multiple threads of whether Aspire seat belts will fit or not. It seems that most say no. Since we are currently doing a suspension swap, I thought I would try my hand at the seat belts.
I straightened the "L" bracket on the retract mechanism that comes from the Aspire. Then everything else bolted in with no issues. I will have to fab up a two inch strip of metal to attach the top of the retract mechanism to inner quarter panel.
The Festy even has two holes on b-pillar to choose from. I went to the highest one for now.
We also did the seat conversion between the Aspire and Festy and bolted them in when we were done.
The seat belts seem to work just fine.
If it matters, the Festy is a 91 and the Aspire is a 97.
