I think the 90's grill looks Ok on a clean car , the color has a lot to do with it .

I wanted a more custom look , I think the 88-89 grill looks cleaner "finer lines"
and there is so much more you can do with a 88-89 grill ..
    cut out the center bar
cut out the Ford logo and make the bar straight all the way across.

yeah i agree. and the old grill reminds me more of the european
pride's and 121's. the over lip of the 90's grill is ok, but its not how
i would have restyled it. i dont think it was an improvement.

Early style- easy to modify, looks great, and has several options to choose from when modifying.

Mazda 121 grill! Its different and has different lights too! The drawback is they can be hard to get and pricey!

I like the look of the 88-89 grills alot better than the 90-93 grills, If I could get a hold of one cheap I would take the grill and round headlight setup CWS sells

i like that halo setup. probably not cheap though. i guess two good regular headlights would even be nice since one of mine has a crappy plastic headlight cover over it. but back to the subject, i like the early style grills. they look better w/o the little nose of the later ones.
