  • Got my pics up on yahoo photo thingy!

So I have the pics of my cars up on yahoo photo. I have some pics of the mild ICE install. (really nice, looks factory!) Anyone have advice on how to link/embed/something else in a forum post?

This leads me to a question, is the rear parcel shelf on festiva's a myth? :/

I've trolled carsdomain & lots of members rides and have yet to see one! I think I'm going to make one. I saw some corrugated plastic sheeting at the art store, going to spray glue & carpet it. Just thought it would be nice to see what it looks like.

    Maybe this will work.

            OMG

I've been looking for one of those since before I got the blue one! We need to arrange something. $25 seems resonable. I need to get one. You can just peer into my trunk right now. It's a sad commentary on todays society, but I'm afraid someone will do a smash & grab.

How do we set this up?

i don't know if i'm gonna get rid of it or not. i'm not using it now because my dd doesn't have the back seat in it but i'm looking for another festiva that i would want it for. someone was talking about making some a while back but i don't know what happened w/ that. if enough people are interested my mom has her own sewing company and she could probably make some of these out of a better material than they are made of and would be better than stock. i doubt it would cost that much. she's gonna be in town tomorrow so i will talk to her about it. only problem would be the support part.

                JUNKYARD RUN!

WAY AWESOME! 50 bux & I have a map/dome light from an escort gt.

I read the howto on www.projectmazda.com and I'm going to do that!

Also scored a center console from an automatic, that I'm going to modify to fit.

Some hubcaps to hide the plain jane 12".

                A shelf for the rear.

Some dash switches. (future fog light/neon switches)

The proper tire rod. (mine was missing)

One of the defunct festy's had power mirrors! I ran out of time though. It'll be for another trip.

Also of note, split rear seats? Mine doesn't have that? I think I'll get those also.

This was a good run. Should have enough to keep me occupied for a while.

You need more than just the cargo cover to add it to your car. 1. You need the two metal pivot rod holders that mounts by the speakers. 2. You need the two posts that the upper part of the draw strings attach to. 3. Need the two clips on the hatch that the cover slides in to support the trailing edge of the cover.

Your cars look real nice :!: :!: I like the black color.

                          Estrella

That's what the estrella's look like? Weird, the pic on the AR website looked different.

I'm going to start looking for some decent wheels.

I'm undecided so far. I have a pic of a little red fiesta with really nice wheels in an underground parking lot. They look like what you find on later model miata's. Probably 14" though & something tells me that might be a tight fit.

Miata wheels will work with the Aspire wheel swap. They have a different bolt pattern than a Festiva. Look at Mattswabb's site for pictures of Festivas with Miata wheels.

Looks like you ran into a 90 LX.. take everything you can from that car..

Interior door panels, instrument cluster, split rear seats, power mirrors, switch and wiring.. When you go back you will notice a lever under the steering column.. fwiw, it's the Festiva version of tilt steering.. but it's a pita to remove and install for such a minor movement of the steering column..
