Hey Guys.....Has anyone replaced the OEM carb on 88 Festy LX with some thing else?
Like this Empi, (WEBER) 32/36 2 barrel carburettor fitted with electric choke.

No, but I have a set of Mikunis that would work. You would also have to buy an electric fuel pump.

Yes, but most use the Holly Escort carb. & adapter from Rocketman.

Use the site search engine- I've seen a lot of discussion about this here, but it make take some time to get new thread response. You could still get an Asian carb from Autozone when I had my '88 back about 2006, 2008.

If you have relaxed emission laws, you can do away with all the vacuum hoses except the couple things you might want to use. With the Weber I have, there are no vacuum lines, except to disty and pcv valve. All sensors are gone. It is like an older car with fuel and air so it runs
