Are the bronze oil shifter bushings really worth the money? Are they any harder to install?

No. Do the Advancedynamix shifter mod.

To clarify, I especially like the Advancedynamix mod for the non-serviceable joint, since it will need fixing anyway, along with the other two joints. But just putting Kia bushings in all three joints will make you happy. Total cost ~$9 + a bolt and nut, and some Lok-tite.90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods

Just replacing the old ones with new stock ones makes an unbelievable difference. Side-to-side movement in the neutral gate is now less than the slop I had in any gear. It's amazin' how much wear accumulates over the years and we don't realize it.Rob JComment
