The '96 Aspire bought home a full sized 30" GE Electric range yesterday- 3 year old range only $100!. htd

being single, I never have a a back seat in my Aspire or Festivas. I once hauled a spinet piano several miles in the back of the '88 Festiva-

yesterday in upper 90's Florida heat, the Aspire- pushing 115 K now- performed admirably for a dozen miles or so with the oven in the back-
and the hatch closed- I put the loading dolly in the front seat-

Too old for this kinda thing! VERY stiff and sore now, but the new stove's in place- I just have to change the outlet plug now from three to four prongs.

Out with the older, in with the newer!wanw

We have that exact same unit. The "new" one I mean.

movin- The ovens are generally 30" or narrower I believe- but there may be wider ones, and I was angry at myself on the drive to see it when I realized I hadn't confirmed the width of it on the phone as I meant. But yes, I had a tape measure and so that was the first thing I did.

While the back is plenty wide the narrow portion of the hatchback bottom was barely an inch or two wider than the range, to slide it through without lifting it too high

and the hatchback had just enough room to close.

A Festiva would've handled it better. Still haven't got that '91 registered though, and sorting it out otherwise.

Excellent! I brought home my chest freezer in my festy. The back seat comes in and out so easy on these little buggers. Who needs a truck?

Between my cars I've had the following stuffed in the back:

2 chest freezers (separately), super capacity washer, full-size couch (hatch open, half couch hanging out held down with tiedowns), dresser, 2 complete engines, 2 doors and a hatch.

There will be more!

I hauled my suzuki dr200 duel sport back from KY last winter when I bought yellow. Wasn't easy unloading alone but rode sticking out the hatch just fine.
