It does look like 13 or 14 tires are available too. My luck finding wheels..groan..I would almost rather buy winter steelies for a Hyundai and put hub caps on.
Those Achilles with the AA traction, that is sweet!Reflex paint by Langeman...Lifted...Tow Rig

The Key to + sizing a Festy with the 1.3L is the Weight & OD. They aren't forgiving, they'll constantly remind you you crossed the line. Some people like to read fiction,I prefer to read repair manuals. Weird I know-

Gidday Movin! I'm surprised you haven't swapped over to Aspire/Rio brakes. I did this mostly to escape from the captive front rotor racket of Festys and to insure I could always find tires. Twelves are getting rather rare and none of the ones I ever managed to find were premium grade. Driving cars that shake like crazy at 60 no matter what you do is a PITA. Once the Aspire fixins were on I got hold of a set of early Rio alloy rims and then found clearance bin Finnish Nokian tires that had a diameter only 3/4 inch larger than 145/12. These were made for French Peugeot cars and size was 155/65-14. Man what a wonderful difference.

Howdy ! All mine are still running stock hubs. There seems to be plenty of wrecking yard rims with the 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern . The offset is usually off a little because of wider tires. Some have a weird lug hole. Some even have smaller pilot holes. A lot of them look like something I don't want on my car. The car in my sig was so easy! I walked into the yard, those were in the wheel rack. They look sweet, are 13's and fit like a good glove!
Maybe I should see if the 4 x 100 would get me some rims I can put up with. I really have not had a motivating incident to make the change. I have an on the car brake lathe so even brake jobs are fast and easy.Last edited by Movin; 06-24-2015, 10:12 AM.Reflex paint by Langeman...Lifted...Tow Rig
