EGR Valve.

Hello Festiva Nation, I have a question about an EGR valve and that is: Does my Festy have a EGR valve? All I see is a gasket listed that fits a pulse tube (What ever that is). Any ideas on this? I am suffering with severe surging on acceleration that lasts until 5th gear and then the car smooths out. I extracted a code 34 which is either a ISC or EGR. I replaced the injectors but no help (I'm sure it needed new ones anyway) Need help, send quick! (LOL). Greg.

No egr. Make sure your intake in intact. No holes or lose connections. Are plugs and wires in good shape?

Thanks William, kind of what I was thinking since I did not see EGR, at least not the kind I'm used to seeing. I used to see all kinds on Ford 2 barrel carb bases. Thanks William. Greg.
