  • Festiva Store: Gauging Interest in Superpro Poly Bushings

Looking at the possibility of stocking Superpro Poly Bushings. Right now I am looking at purchasing in bulk the following bushings:

SPF1478-22K: This the swaybar bushings for the front of the vehicle where it mounts to the lower radiator support. This is for the stock size festiva swaybar. The aspire swaybar takes a different size bushing. Projected cost is $40-50/set

SPF0161K: This is the swaybar bushings where it connects to the lower control arms. Projected cost is $30-40/set

SPF1318K: This the control arm inner bushing. Projected cost is $45-55/set

As to what I need to hear from you guys, is the amount of people interested that would more than likely purchase one of these sets within the next 6 months. Please let me know which set you are interested in. I am looking for these numbers in order to determine if these are worth stocking in the store. The more people who are genuinely interested, the more I can order and the lower the cost will be. Shipping cost is about $5.50/ per small flat rate USPS box. So shipping should be cheap for everybody in the US.

If anyone wants to provide feedback for others as to the quality of these bushings, feel free to.

Shipping would be about $12 if the weight of the package is less than a pound. $22 if sent by flat rate small package with less than 4lbs. Hope that gives you a good ball park.

Hello Kid, 1 set of 1478-22k for me and who knows maybe a second set for the wifes car.
An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

I personally enjoy very much the Nolathane polyurethane bushings.
They seem to work very well. And are similar in price to what you are projecting.

They are available in all 3 sets just as you posted.
Maybe you could stock them also.

I found all the bushings in Nolathane except the swaybar to frame bushings. I see they have them for the aspire, but I don't see one for the 22 mm festiva sway bar.

Man you're right. I could sworn they had all 3 I'm sorry.
I wonder why they stock them for the aspire and not the festiva?
They are almost the same car.

Festiva Store: Gauging Interest in Superpro Poly Bushings

They usually estimate the amount of cars still in circulation and the total value of the car.

Festivas and soon enough aspires are deemed as cars that go to the scrappers once they develop problems. Hence why they don't bother stocking parts.

I don't agree with it but it's just the way society operates nowadays.
                        Capitalism and instant gratification.

I think I'd rather pay a couple bucks more and have it when I need it.

My issue is getting enough interest to justify a big order in order to get slightly lower prices and to be able to spread the shipping cost over more items. It looks like I might have interest to get the prices lower than originally posted.
