Depends on which of the 3 you need. There is the one on the lower intake manifold that is for the pcm. Then there is the single wire one that is in the front of the head by the thermostat housing that is for the temp gauge in the cluster.THEN, there is the thermostatic switch that is IN the thermostat housing for the cooling fan.

Everyone is always getting them mixed up- Here's an older thread I searched the other night:
Post your Festiva or Aspire repair and maintenance issues. - USE THIS FORUM FOR ANY TECHNICAL RELATED POST (IE. How do I change my oil?, How to remove axle from tranny?, etc)

The title of this thread indicates you're talking about the sensor for the gauge- with one wire in the head left of the thermostat housing

I think the $52 is about the price on ebay

the fan switch, screwed into the thermo housing, is generally cheaper:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Engine-Coola...f46634&vxp=mtr
