Somebody please help me get ahold of a guy on craigslist selling an Aspire SE.... I would like to buy it right now but theres no way to get ahold of them

BTW he says it's a 96. Impossible, since SEs were only 94 and 95 options. It could be a 96 with 94-95 SE parts tho. Can't tell if it has the fog lights. He thinks it has the 1.8 liter motor? Huh? Stuff is not adding up here. Maybe he's just clueless.

Idk really just want to go and see it first..... Plus I don't think any average person would just put those SE parts on a car....

Sounds like you need to be there, he wants cash bad. Don't give him a dime until you see a good title with the correct VIN and no lender listed that may still hold title. Don't leave the car there after you buy it. Look it over good, test drive.

Bring a festiva equipped to tow and a tow bar. It is ok if you have to use a substandard tow rig not capable of 50mpg getting there and 35mpg with the aspire in tow...its really lame when you have to but this is a good example where an exception won't bring you grief!

SE model has its own VIN. If it is a genuine SE the VIN must begin with KNJLT07. KNJLT05 is a base 2 door and KNJLT06 is a base 4 door. Also must be a 94 or 95 to be a real SE.
