  • Should I camp here?

    N42 53 08.6 W121 55 27.9

I have rode through here on my way to Diamond Lake, I run the Sno-Cat through here on my way to link the Lake of the Woods snowmobile system to the Diamond Lake system. I have never camped here.

Should I camp here with my son in law , fish and ride in 60 deg weather ( 90 deg down here ) this weekend ?

I could camp another thousand or 2 feet higher, but no fishing. I could also camp to the north on bear creek. Good fishing there and a monster cinder pit he could dirt bike in. No camp fire outside campgrounds.

    Here is the link N42 59 35.8 W121 56 45.1

Right in between crater lake and antelope desert. Really, we can ride to fish any of it.

The Festiva will pull a trailer with my big Honda ATV and the Dirt Bike, 2 tents, cots, bbq, food drink, clothes and gear, gas, water and fire gear as a forest fire is very close. South is farther from the fire but a creek bed is pretty safe, no winds forecast. Where?

Thanks!! Not leaving until project at shop finished before lunch, then outa here!! I am kind of thinking if Bow hunters are camped there I will move higher or go accross the top and drop into pothole or bear creek. Yup, lots of bears , some cats and a pack of wolves.
