Now here is the first problem that needs to be tackled how do we fix the ignition to where we don't have to jump wires to start it?

Did all the SE cars have that wing?
Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

I think you can probably find a new ignition and key, or have that one rekeyed, or is it some roblem other?

Don't you wish more people used seat covers? :pottytrain5:
My 96 Aspire has cloth seats and no tears yet, because I keep covers on them

Those side panels of fabric are still cool!

The 91 Festy I got last year has seats torn up too, so I cover them too. I think they were about $15 delivered on ebay.

Certainly it was manufactured either in early May or June of 94 (see door post sticker) but might not have come off the boat and been trucked to a dealer's lot in north America until the 95s typically came out in September. The beauty of these generic vehicles (they never really changed much) was if they passed current emissions standards they could be sold as next year's.
Is this engine OBDI or OBDII? I was lead to believe the switch over to OBDII happened somewhere in that timeframe, whether it was on the 95s or the 96s.

it was manufactured in May of 1994.... I always took it as anything with 93 sticker was a 94 and anything with 94 sticker was a 95.... I will check the vin and see what they classify it as.

I thought OBDII was in the 97 Aspire only.... I may be wrong?

ok it is a 1994 not a 1995..... still better guess then the last owner who thought it was a 1997

we are I believe the 7th owners of the car and the tabs have not been replaced since 2013 when it might have been in the 4th or 5th owner's hands?

OBD-II started for all cars in 1996. All 1995s were OBD-I.
