Aspire radio wire diagram

Does the Aspire have the same radio harness as the Festiva?

If so do I just follow the diagram for the Festiva?
What is it? So many different people saying different things.... So who is correct?

See posts 6 and 7 in this thread. Festiva and Aspire harnesses are different. Does your Haynes manual have a radio wiring diagram specific to the Aspire?

Aspire radio wire diagram

I need to know what wire color goes to what for the Aspire as there are no longer any factory plugs

Off the top of my head:
red = hot when car is in Aux key position
yellow = hot at all times (for memory functions)
black = ground (well duh)
blue = auto antenna (probably doesn't apply)
All the rest are speaker wires; e.g. for one speaker you might have solid green for pos, and green w/white or black stripe for neg. Doesn't really matter which you hook up to where, if you have four speakers and use all four.

Blue with red stripe=Hot at all times-Radio memory
Blue with yellow stripe=Hot in Accessory or Run
Black=Ground
Red with black stripe=Illumination power
Black with white stripe=Illumination return
Speaker Wires
Right rear-Brown with red stripe
Right rear+Blue with black stripe
Right front-Blue with orange stripe
Right front+Green with orange stripe
Left rear-Yellow
Left rear+Blue with green stripe
Left front-Green with red stripe
Left front+Brown with black stripe

That what the manual shows.Did you check the room fuse and the cigar fuse? Both have to do with the radio.

well I think the cigar fuse needs replacment.... but will check

the fuse was missing and didn't pop, but I now need to go and check if it works now
