went to my 1st jy since moving up into the metro area of minnesota, so consequently i didnt expect much for older cars in the yard...

i was partially right...

found a nicely loaded 90 L+ with a white tach cluster, map pockets, rust free fendersand hatch, and a decent motor with only 53,000 miles!

after grabbing the driver side headlight, the tach cluster, map pockets and a few switches, i walked out only having to pay 41$...

whoo hoo!

they also only wanted 45$ for the hatch which has defrost and is entirely rust free!!! too bad its yellow and my car is red...

time to prime n paint!

one yard thats close to me had over 20 festivas, they had LXs, GLs, L plus, L with all kinds of good parts, this was about 3 years ago when i had my silver L, i went back to that yard and now they have 3 festivas, one has p. mirrors and a tach. but now they want 60 bucks for p. mirrors! i got my old ones for 18 bucks!

Your lucky, its almost impossible to find Festiva's in yards by me. They don't keep them long, they just crush them.

the owner of the one jy around here keeps at least 2 in the yard at all times. there's a crap load of festiva's driven around here though. of course none for sale.
