    Rd90 from one way products.

Company I work for has a contract with the supplier, so I sign out a can a week. Hah. Haven't bought a can of lq wrench or pb in 12 years.

just did a quick search is this what you use, its pretty cheap if it is, how good does it work, i live in the show belt so good penetrating oil is like gold

Sprayway 090 RD-90 Spray Lubricant 11oz Aerosol Sprayway RD-90 Spray Lubricant retards rust, drives out moisture, lubricates and penetrates rust on any metal. Harmless to paint, plastic, rubber, fabric. RD-90 is a non-conductor and does not contain silicones. RD-90 is excellent for use on automotive, boat and marine equipment ... dries out wet ignition systems, great for motors and stops battery corrosion. Spray on metal hardware, locks, fishing tackle, guns, tools or any metal item where lubrication or rust and corrosion protection is needed. Fine thin coating keeps moving parts and operating mechanisms running smoothly. Versatile enough for use on automotive and marine equipment, household items, hardware, tools, printing presses, sewing machines. Film coating keeps moving parts and operating mechanisms running smoothly. Prevents rust; displaces moisture. Acts as quick-release agent on corroded or "frozen" parts. Contains no silicone. Excellent low cost alternative to WD-40 Directions for use: Spray liberally on all metal surfaces (attached spray extension tube is for "hard to get at" places). For rust and corrosion prevention caused by humidity, eletrolysis, salt water deposits, industrial residues apply periodically. Spray on corroded and rust "frozen" parts for quick release. Displaces moisture for future protection.

I've heard ATF and acetone beats everything, but I've never tried it.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

Its caustic and dont get it on paint. There is a tech at my job that makes his own "super penetrate". Same as what your saying only using brake clean and ATF.

Frogstiva '92 Festiva: Just bought a HOT MESS. BP swap with E trans (not done), Built Red from factory spray bombed black with stripes, Aspire swap, Escort GT Master Cylinder, found frogs in vehicle, hence Frogstiva, pulling all good parts for Lil' Red Rocket.

1.7 PN Diesel and trans, waiting for good shell.

Yeah, the ATF plus acetone works incredibly well. And is cheap! Basically ATF plus any solvent that it will kind of mix with will do the trick. Brake clean is mostly methanol, and ATF will not mix with it very well. I have tried some other things but always come back to the tried and true ATF plus acetone formula.

Hmm, I just used some Google Fu, and found some interestings.

                        http://www.engineeringforchange.org/how-to-make-penetrating-oil/

So, grab some veg oil next time you're in the grocery store, and thin it with whatever would mix readily with oil. I'd say something petroleum based would work better than acetone even. From what I found acetone doesn't really want to mix with ATF.

I think I'll try veg oil and gasoline right now and see what they do.

EDIT: Just mixed up some kerosene and veg oil. They mix perfectly, and so far they are staying mixed. I will let it sit overnight and post another pic, but as of now I'm taking this to work to try out. Oh, and funny enough it smells very much like PB Blaster. Hmm.

I bought mine from the local parts store. Pricey but I'm impressed with how well it works.
