Is a Ford aspire as reliable as a Festiva?

I think so, but mine hasn't exceeded the old 4 speed 88 carby I had. I bought that at 175K and drove it another 100,000 then had to sell it. The biggest repair was a new alternator.
the 96 Aspire I got at 35,000, it now has 117 K and has also been very reliable with no major repairs yet. Haven't got the newer 91 Festy on the road yet.Last edited by harpon; 12-21-2015, 03:51 PM. -
It is about the same if not better if your comparing auto to auto but we aren't having too good luck with the stock aspire 5 speed transmission.... Our aspire already has its 5th 5 speed put in by us and we drive better than your grandma....
