    Looking to buy a Festiva with a B6t swap. What should I be looking for?

    I am looking to buy a Festiva with a b6t swap. I found one on Craigslist my problem is I have never owned a turbo car what mechanical issues should I be looking out for when I inspect the car for purchase.

    Rust is the big thing. Too much = walk away or get it really cheap so you can transfer the good parts to a better body.
    Most important places to check: the lower rad support, the upper rear strut tower, and where the rear beam bolts to the unibody. Also along the rockers, under the car front to rear, and in front of the rear wheels.
